Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are normally of the “all press is good press” school, but today’s leak of Montag’s first single has got them both in a tizzy.
A source tells Usmagazine.com that the couple do not know where Ryan Seacrest got the song, which he played for listener feedback this morning on his radio show. “They are furious,” the source says. “They don’t know who [is responsible], but Heidi, Spencer and the label are extremely upset it leaked.”
Montag, who has a contract to release one song, not a whole album, with Warner Brothers, had planned to release “Body Language” without Pratt’s rap. Pratt tells Us that the leaked track “was a song Heidi and I were doing for fun. Never would I rap on her first single!”

If the media attention wasn’t enough already with the feud between Lauren and Heidi, it appears Heidi and Spencer want more! MTV denies it, but Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are allegedly lanning to end their engagement, but “fans” shouldn’t worry as it is merely a ploy to get more media attention and to once again grab the spotlight when The Hills goes on hiatus next spring.
“They’re going to stage a huge breakup, and Heidi is going to pack up all her stuff and move out of their apartment,” said a friend of the couple told OK! Weekly in the magazine’s September 10 issue. “[Heidi] is going to say that she wants to focus on her career and doesn’t have time to plan a wedding and will accuse him of cheating on her.”
Pratt has reportedly told friends that both he and Heidi will try to sell their sides of the “split” to the highest bidder to keep the money rolling in. Once sold, they will rekindle their relationship. “They are going to get the press, then go to Cabo for a reunion weekend,” the friend told OK!.
Spencer Pratt and Heido Montag were unreachable for comment about this elaborate breakup scheme due to gag order placed on the third season cast of The Hills, which stems from the feud between the couple and Lauren Conrad.
When asked if the story is true, an MTV representative told OK! “this story is completely untrue.” While MTV might deny it, Spencer Pratt’s former BFF (best friend forever and former due to them “breaking up” because of his relationship with Heidi), Brody Jenner said, ”I wouldn’t put it past Spencer,” he told OK!.

Jason Wahler might be getting married to another woman, but the former Laguna Beach and The Hills’ star will still take a stand for his former girlfriend, Lauren “L.C” Conrad in her feud with Heid Montag and Spencer Pratt. Is he taking a stand for Lauren or trying to save face for himself since one of the alleged rumors circulating involves him creating a sex tape with Lauren. Conrad and Wahler both deny that a tape was even made.
Wahler said, ”The whole thing that Heidi and Spencer said about the tape thing, it’s just so annoying,” Wahler told Ryan Seacrest during the American Idol host’s KIIS FM morning radio program on Wednesday, according to People. “They just need to shut up,”
“The most frustrating part is that [Montag and Pratt] are such lowlifes that they have to come up with stuff to try and ruin other people,” Wahler told Seacrest, according to People. “It’s just frustrating.”
Wahler was arrested several times due to alcohol related problems. He completed a stint in rehab in the spring and recently proposed to college tennis player Katja Decker-Sadowski. He appeared on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show to promote his upcoming appearance on The Hills 3rd season in which he comes face to face with Lauren Conrad since their breakup.
“Lauren was a good friend, she was always there to be supportive and stuff,” he told Seacrest, People reported. “Thing’s definitely get stirred up [on Monday night’s The Hills episode]. You’ll have to wait and see.”

It appears as if Heidi Montag is getting used to playing the evil villain in her feud with The Hills’ star Lauren “L.C.” Conrad. ”I just have to accept that Lauren will never be seen in a bad light,” said Montag in the October issue of CosmoGirl!, People reported Thursday.
“[MTV doesn’t] show the footage of how Lauren was sort of obsessed with [fiance Spencer Pratt], or how she called my mom in Colorado and told her I was involved in an abusive relationship, or how she would scream at me in the middle of the club if I wanted to leave… to go see Spencer.”
Heidi’s and Lauren’s ongoing feud - which Conrad states started when Montag and boyfriend, Pratt began spreading rumors about a sex tape with former Laguna Beach star and and ex-boyfriend, Jason Wahler - had gotten so vicious that MTV enforced a “media blackout” on the cast of The Hills’ third season a few days before its premier.
In previous interviews, Conrad has stated that Montag is “not the same person anymore.” It seems as if Heidi would have to agree.
“Some of [how my actions are portrayed on the show] is true but some of it is a character that they have created,” explained Montag to CosmoGirl!.
Apparently the villian or not, Heidi is pleased to be on the show. “Every character plays a unique role and makes his or her own contribution,” she told CosmoGirl!. “Even though Lauren and I aren’t getting along, I’m still happy to be on this show with her.”

What would happen to MTV’s The Hills without its star, Lauren “L.C.” Conrad? Apparently she almost decided against appearing on the third season of the Laguna Beach spin-off before filming began.
“I actually came dangerously close to not doing season three, because I really didn’t want to do the show with [Heidi Montag and fiance Spencer Pratt],” said Conrad in Seventeen magazine’s October issue, People reported Thursday. “I’m not who they are. I don’t stage my own publicity. I just kind of live my life and do my job, and I don’t want to be grouped with them.”
Conrad said that MTV stepped in and explained how important she was to the docu-reality series which ultimately helped her decide to continue to let the cameras roll. She did state that we shouldn’t expect any reunions between her and Heidi, her former BFF.
“[MTV said] Heidi and Spencer were always a part of the show, and they can’t all of a sudden make main characters disappear,” Conrad told Seventeen. “And so we continue to follow their lives, and the producers keep letting Heidi and Spencer think there’s some hope [that we’ll make up].”

In previous interviews, Conrad has stated that Montag is “not the same person anymore.” because she’s pre-occupied living a lavish lifestyle in the limelight.
“Some people are willing to betray years of friendship just to get a little bit of the spotlight,” Conrad told Seventeen. “They just want to become famous so badly, and that’s never really made sense to me. I mean, it’s fun to go out and do stuff in Hollywood, but if it was gone tomorrow, I really wouldn’t be disappointed.”
