The Hills: Forgive and Forget

Lisa Love gives Whitney and Lauren an event to go to - celebrating the power of the vote. They are going to cover it for Teen Vogue. Brent Bolthouse, Heidi’s boss, is on the guest list. Whitney wonders if Heidi will be there. “Well see when we get there and we’ll handle the situation accordingly,” Whitney said. We already know Heidi will be there and a confrontation erupts. I can’t wait!

At the Bolthouse Office, Heidi says hi to Kimberly, the new event coordinator. They discuss the event and Kimberly and Heidi will be going together. Now we are at “Declare Yourself Event” and we get to see cameras flashing and Justin Timberlake. Whitney and Heidi waltz in loving the fact that they don’t have to work and can just have fun. They couldn’t believe Lisa told them to enjoy themselves. And..in goes Heidi.

Lauren and Whitney go outside just as Heidi and Kimberly walk in. Whitney asks where Audrina is and why she didn’t come. Lauren states b/c they only have 2 tickets and she’s on a date with Justin Bobby.

We see them (Audrina and Justin Bobby) on JB’s motorcycle and they go sit down for dinner or drinks at a bar. She states she’s not a receptionist anymore and she has her own cubicle and more responsibilty. She gets to work with Sean Kingston tomorrow and they will go to Jimmy Kimmel. He interrupts her conversation with a loud annoying rude burp. He then changes the subject about whether she got his phone calls. She asked if he left any messages. He states “If I said I’d call you, I’ll call you.” Then he burps loud again. Annoying.

Well, Lauren sees Heidi and Heidi tells Kimberly about “that girl” I told you about is standing right over there. Heidi goes up to her and says “hi”. Whitney introduces herself to Kimberly. Awkward. Lauren states, “If you want to apologize to me, I’ll talk to you.” Lauren gets on her about Spencer spreading the rumors and Heidi states she didn’t do anything wrong. Lauren calls her a “bad person”. Heidi leaves saying “Ok, so have a great night.” Whitney takes a deep breath in.

Back at Audrina and Lauren’s pad, they are both sitting on the couch. Audrina is sporting a cute hat and offers Lauren some veggies. She asks about Lauren’s night and she tells her the scoop on Heidi. Lauren sounds sick. She states Heidi tries to act normal. Audrina listens and takes Lauren’s side. Lauren rolls her eyes and brings up Audrina working with Shawn Kingston tonight.

We are at the Jimmy Kimmel live rehearsal and we get to see Audrina doing her thing. Sean sings on stage and Audrina is smiling and singing a little bit. Audrina talks about going out with Justin Bobby tonight and Chiara, her co-worker, tells her there is no way due to their job and not having enough time. She’s going to call him tomorrow.

Back at Teen Vogue, Whitney talks about the night before and Lauren starts going on about Heidi when Lauren gets an IM (Instant Message) from Heidi. “She’s on my freakin’ IM”. Heidi wants to meet up and talk. Lauren responds with “what do you want to talk about?” Heidi wants to put everything behind them and asks when they can meet. Lauren thinks (Whitney can’t stand it and keeps asking what is going on). Lauren says something about meeting her at her apartment. Whitney thinks she should just get it over with.

Back at Jimmy Kimmel Live backstage. Audrina and Chiara are with Sean telling him he rocked the house. They state that he’s a big teddy bear and they talk about getting his autograph on his CD.

We’re at Heidi and Spencer’s and he reads the i-chat on his computer between Heidi and Lauren. He’s acting like an ass again and doesn’t seem to like the fact that Heidi wants to work things out. “Be careful you’re heading into the Lion’s den”. He gives her a look like - I can’t believe you are going to work it out with her. Ahhh! I do not like him.

Now at Epic Records, we are with Audrina in her new space. Chiara is bringing her some yellow flowers and they are from Sean Kingston “It was great working with you. Thanks for all your hard work,” read the card. And here I thought they were from Justin Bobby. Yeah, he’s not thoughtful or sweet enough.

The part we’ve been waiting for. Heidi is at Lauren’s apartment and she brings her flowers - roses. Awww..nice gesture, but a little late in coming. She points out some thorns - kind of ironic. Heidi is very impressed at the place and how clean she is - Lauren said that Audrina makes her clean. Heidi is so sorry about how things went the other night. She swears on her life that she had nothing to do with the rumors. She claims she doesn’t know if Spencer did or not and that that has nothing to do with her. Lauren states that she believes that Heidi knows Spencer did it and doesn’t want to believe it. That she loves him so much that she wants to believe that he is good. Heidi keeps saying “he’s not bad. He’s not bad.” Lauren wishes she could know how bad it was. Heidi wishes they could be friends and had no idea it was happening. Lauren said she did nothing and it is just as bad. Lauren claims that Spencer hates her and Heidi states that he doesn’t. Heidi keeps saying “I’m so sorry.”  Lauren says “This is the person that went around and made calls and made an effort that people would hear these things about me. This is the person that you want to marry and spend the rest of your life with, and you have to live with that.” Heidi responds that she loves Spencer and that he is no angel. She claims she didn’t go there to fight with her. She states she is so sorry about everything. Then Lauren’s classic line is “I want to forgive you and I want to forget you.” Heidi responds with “yeah, well, it was great seeing you. The apartment looks great and I hope you have a great life. Have a great night, Lauren.” Lauren puts her head in her hand and looks down. Heidi drives off.

I guess people grow apart and move on. Nothing last forever. Everything changes.

Next time on the hills:

Spencer is singing “here comes the bride” as they walk down this huge aisle. They are talking to a wedding planner who offers a whole package - starting with premarital counseling - WOW, they need that. Whitney is asked out (finally we get to see her personal life). Spencer tells Heidi he wants to go to Las Vegas to get married. Heidi says that it means so much to her and that maybe they should just think about it. She puts her ring on the magazine in front of Spencer and walks out. Is this the “fake breakup” we’ve been hearing about - or is it real? I hope it is real.
